Lone Star Athletics Track Club, Inc.Welcome to Lone Star Athletics Track Club a youth development organization celebrating 6 years of existance in southwest Austin, TX. In our 6 years, we have been blessed with several student/athletes that will study and compete in track and field at NCAA Division 1 university levels. Specifically, our student/athlete's will study and compete at: Sam Houston State University, Texas State University, University of North Texas, University of Memphis the University of Texas at Arlington and most recently the University of Texas at San Antonio.
The 2007 season proved to be our best with 5 of 13 athlete's qualifying for the 2007 AAU Junior Olympic Championship in Knoxville, TN. They qualified in the 3000M run, 2000M stepplechase, 1500M run, 800M run, 400M hurdles, 200M hurdles long jump and the tripple jump in various age groups. Three of the 5 competed in multiple events at the Jr. Olympic competition. One athlete, Bailey Johnson a freshman at Dripping Springs High School this fall, won medals in the long jump and 200M hurdles.
THE CROWNING MOMENT OF OUR PROGRAM ARE THE ACADEMIC ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF OUR CURRENT AND FORMER MEMBERS. AN EXAMPLE BEING:
ELANA EDWARDS: Will graduate 1st or 2nd in her class at Bowie High School in 2009.
VICTORIA NOETZEL: Will graduate in the top 5% of her class at Lake Travis HIgh School in 2009.
SEVERAL OF OUR STUDENT/ATHLETE'S IN ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL ARE HONOR ROLL MEMBERS AND HAVE MASTERED ALL OF THE SUBJECT MATTER ON STANDARDIZED STATE TESTS!

DARIUS ANDERSON : As an Engineering major at the University of Memphis Darius earned his way onto the Dean's List.
MELISSA HAYES: As an Art major, her work is already earned Melissa honors at the University of North Texas.
HEINZ SCHWARTZKOPF : As a Pre-Med major Heinz was a member of the Dean's List during his entire first year at University of Texas at Arlington.
